Saint Vincent de Paul letter drop
During the second term, students in 4th year were asked if they wanted to go to Deansgrange in south Dublin and drop letters into people's houses asking for a donation to St Vincent de Paul. I happily agreed to take part. So on one Thursday morning approximately 20 students including myself went on a bus to a local church in Deansgrange where we met some members of St Vincent de Paul who would be driving us to different estates.
We had to pair up in twos and threes and then we were off. In total Dan and I dropped just under 200 letters so it was very successful and it felt good because I know we have raised money for a good cause now.
